Wow...so I am really doing this....
I am new to this blogging thing so please be patient....
So in case you missed the memo via facebook I am officially running the Boston Marathon come April for Charity. I started running a few months ago, was just sick of not being active so I signed up for a half marathon in Newport, RI and started at it....well...I got hooked!! The runners high isn't just a myth...once you start its addictive...and relaxing...something I look forward to every day....after a long day at City Sports with stress everywhere its a great release for me....
For those of you who may not know me as well....my partner Maggie is in law school which is certainly time consuming...obviously that translates into less time for us....so as I started running more and more I thought there may be no better time to go after this crazy goal: 26.2 in Boston!
I went for it! Applied for a charity spot on the Boston Living Center Marathon Team and a few weeks later here I am starting a blog and beginning my quest; fundraising and training...
The goal for me and this blog is twofold....I want to keep you all in the loop with my running and fundraising progress...but it will also keep me on track with my own training; especially when it gets tough come January and February as the mileage increases at the same rate as the New England snow!!!! brrrrr....
So I am hoping to keep this exciting and fresh to read and follow...feel free to comment and keep me inspired...I am sure I will need it come the first snow fall...
Stay tuned for info about the Boston Living Center my charity of choice!

Hi BABERS!!! I am so proud of you! You keep running, and I'll keep cooking for you. That's how I show my support! You run, and I cook. Good thing it's good for you! I am here for you in every possible way; you see, I want to share my life with you. Our triumphs and our downfalls; we share them both. Keep running, my fearless babers. I will be at the finish line, waiting for you.
