I am having a TOUGH time gettting motivated and back on the road...I took sunday off after a tough 10k...and then after a looong day at work today I took a nap and that was it for the night...again 2 days off from running...
I am worried I am losing some of the progress I had made, but I am certainly having a tough time getting back out there...Also my legs are sore and hurt...and my shin is still sore to the touch...so a few days off may not be a bad thing, but I keep thinking I am falling behind and ruining what I have worked for...I guess I am just playing mind games...I always did this growing up with basketball as well...it was always more mental than physical...but I am determined to keep at it with my goal in mind...
Looks like I am already behind my 36 mile goal...but I can work towards that as I get back into things...I also dont want to jump in too hard too fast and risk injury...so next step is run club tomorrow night...and I am working on trying to find a running partner so at least a few runs a week will be with a group...
I am spent so off to bed...but dreaming of a good running day tomorrow!!
