Our Very Own Backyard Campout

We got out there!  And had a pleasant surprise when both nieces were able to enjoy the Great American Backyard Campout...Sarah and Rachele were troopers both enjoying a night outside.  They helped pitch the tent...yes my 2 person Mountain Hardwear Hammerhead tent fit 4 of us and a dog...it was a tight squeeze to say the least...it is perfect for Me, Maggie, and Tenley...but adding in 2 teenagers...YIKES...

AND...it rained...thank goodness for the waterproof construction...the girls were certainly freaked out when they saw lightning...but we toughed it out and stayed out...We had a perfect outdoor experience with fireflies, s'mores, and lots of giggling...
