I am super NERVOUS tho...not sure what to expect...and this is alll so new to me...I'm nervous it could be a bad day and my legs wont be there...or my stomach will be upset...or the early morning will be too much for me...
People keep bringing things up that I never thought of: bringing clothes to keep warm that you just leave on the course (they donate them tho don't worry)....the 5am wake up time to get downtown to load the bus out to Hopkinton...the bathroom craziness, the suggestion is to bring a water bottle to pee in...gross!!!!
I am excited for the weekend...my best friend KJ is coming in to support me...my family is coming up to the expo on Saturday...my sister Jaime has been training to run a mile with me at the top of heartbreak hill...I am soooo proud of her....Maggie has been amazing through this whole process; and she is all over my food intake this week making sure I am ready to go Monday...
Easy week of running tho; I did an easy 3 miles today, 4 tomorrow, and 3 on Thursday...then its just a nice easy 1-2 miles on Sunday....resting up the legs and keeping them loose and moving...I will try to blog all week with new news...so keep checking back...
